Car runs into truck trailer in Bethlehem

UPDATED: 8.40AM: The scene is now clear at a minor crash between two vehicles in Bethlehem this morning.

A reporter who attended the incident says emergency services have now departed.

A police spokesperson confirms a crash between a car and a truck occurred at around 8am, with the car running into the truck's trailer near the intersection of State Highway 2 and Moffat Road.

The road was blocked for a time, but she says no one was injured.

Traffic in the area is still heavy.

EARLIER:

Reports are coming in of a truck and car crash near Bethlehem.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a truck and car have collided on State Highway, at the intersection of Moffat Road.

According to the caller, the car appears to be under the trailer of the truck.

"The crash is blocking the road."

Motorists are being advised to expect delays.
