Hunt on for stolen dog

Jess the missing Deutsch Drahthaar.

Police are turning to the public to help them find a two- year-old Deutsch Drahthaar.

Jess is believed to have been stolen while on a walk at Baypark Stadium in December.

“Jess is very recognisable, she is dark brown with a few white flecks,” says a post on the Bay of Plenty Police Facebook page.

“She weighs 25kgs and is about 63cm tall. She's also got the last 6 digits of her chip number tattooed in one of her ears.

“Her owners have searched high and low for her since she went missing, and are very worried and upset.”

Tauranga Police have also been making enquiries and ask anyone who may have seen her, or know who might have taken her, to please contact Tauranga Police on (07) 577 4300 or report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
