Car and trailer crash in Papamoa

A car and trailer have tipped on the intersection of Papamoa Beach Road and Domain Road, Papamoa.

Police were called to the scene at 11.31am where what is believed to be a car and cabin on a trailer tipped blocking off the left lane coming out of Domain Road after the roundabout.

Police say there are no injuries, but the road is blocked and traffic management is in place.

"Traffic has built up in the area and a tow truck is on the way."

A SunLive caller who saw it happen says the driver either was cut off or cut someone off at the roundabout causing the driver to make a quick movement that tipped the trailer.

I wasn’t there and didn’t see it but I reckon it was either their fault or someone else’s. I’m contacting the Police to let them know.
