Baywide Club Rugby heads into week four today with some keen traditional rivalry across both the premier and division one competition.

Te Puna returns home this weekend to host Greerton Marist following a clinical win over Mount Maunganui Sports last weekend. They have produced winning performances on their home track but have struggled away from home.

Te Puna head coach Aidan Kuka says his team have been building combinations and their game is evolving. The key focus for his side this weekend will be defence. 'Greerton have some hard running ball carriers who can offload so we must be aware.”

Kuka says set-piece accuracy is an area needing improvement. 'Greerton will be very competitive in that area so we need to be accurate.”

Te Puna's looking forward to playing at home in front of whanau and friends with all three senior teams playing at home this week.

Greerton Marist's Head Coach Ryan Dunnett says their focus is to win the key moments, execute the their strike moves and be ruthless with opportunities. 'Defence will be focusing on applying as much pressure as possible. We haven't yet played well for the full 80. We will need to be on our game for the 80 to be in with a shot.

There's a division 1 top of the table clash between Eastern Bay of Plenty's Te Teko and Western Bay of Plenty's Rangiuru. Te Teko coach Anthony Studer's aiming to improve week on week and keep a high standard throughout the week, at training and on game day.

'We are not getting too far ahead of ourselves. But it's pretty good to see where they are at the moment. And we are more focused on our strengths; setting up solid phases and launching our backline.”

Rangiuru Head Coach Simon Rolleston is calling for his entire squad to continue working hard.

'We want the team to train hard and keep pushing each other for positions, keep a positive team mind-set even if they don't make the 22. Those who do, stand up and perform your key roles well.”

This weekend Rolleston's looking for Rangiuru to reduce errors and capitalise on opportunities.

'We will have to be more accurate and make sure we take every opportunity this week against a tough top team down there. It's not easy to come away with a win down there.”

Premier's kick-off at 2.45pm. The draw today is Te Puke Sports v Whakatane Marist at Murray Salt, Rangataua v Whakarewarewa at Te Arike Park, Rotoiti v Ngongotaha at Emery park, Te Puna v Greerton Marist at Maramatanga Park, Paroa v Tauranga Sports at Lawson park and Arataki v Mount Maunganui Arataki Park.
