The Baywide Club Rugby competition enters a grueling schedule of three games in eight days.

Week five of the competition kicks off tomorrow, with week six just four days later on ANZAC Day and week seven, three days later, on Saturday April 28.

Tomorrow, Ngongotaha play Paroa at the Ngongotaha Domain.

They kicked off their 2018 campaign back in March with a win over Arataki, but since haven't had a win against teams positioning in the top four.

Paroa have also played three out of the four top sides and have been unable to get a win.

Both Ngongotaha and Paroa are desperate and will be targeting this match for a win.

Ngongotaha head coach Jodie Wharekura says his team has been guilty of starting slowly and relying on chasing teams down.

'At this level we need to ensure we find our feet right from kick off.”

He says Ngongotaha's levels of concentration, execution and discipline need to be at its best if they're to beat Paroa.

Paroa's Eddie Sykes says his team's made mistakes in its preparation this season so they're learning, adapting and moving forward.

'It's vital we identity how we play our game. This week we have been working on improving our execution at key moments of the game.”

Papamoa are at home to Waimana at Gordon Spratt Reserve this weekend – two teams who have yet to post a win this season.

That alone should bring some edge to this fixture.

Papamoa coach Paul Sloane says his youthful side's developing each week, but calls for greater concentration.

'We just need to keep building our effort, and stay in the game longer. We can't afford to be switching off for a minute or you end up getting punished.”

Waimana head coach Michele Wallace says her focus will be a first win of the season.

'Last couple of weeks ago we have lost a few starting players and unfortunately we don't have the depth to accommodate those loses. But when we do get together the brothers have each other's backs and we play for each other.”

The Baywide Premier Club Rugby draw this weekend is Mount Maunganui Sports v Greerton Marist at Blake Park, Whakarewarewa v Te Puke Sports at Puarenga Park, Ngongotaha v Paroa at Ngongotaha Domain, Tauranga Sports v Te Puna at Tauranga Domain, Whakatane Marist v Rotoiti at Rugby Park and Arataki v Rangataua at Arataki Park.
