An unusual rescue was the reason behind a police call out to the Lakes this afternoon.
A police media spokesperson says it happened just before 1pm.
'Police were notified at 12.50pm today that a vehicle was stuck in a pond near Taurikura Drive.
'The vehicle is being towed out and no one has been injured.”
