A woman has sustained injuries after falling from her horse during a riding event on a farm east of Rotorua.
The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at 3.30 pm on Saturday to attend the incident.
The 58-year-old received injuries to her shoulder and ribs.
She was stabilised at the scene by a paramedic before being flown to Rotorua Hospital in a moderate condition.
