Dog meet ups and Golden Oldie rugby

File photo.

Good morning SunLive readers and welcome to Sunday.

If you're anything like me Sundays are usually a lazy day for you - it's the day you slob around after you've done all your chores and you've been out exploring the day before.

However, I urge you to make the most of the day because it's panning out to be quite a social day here in the Bay.

If you're a dog mum or dad then why not meet other dog parents at BOP Oodle Club's monthly meet up. Because let's be honest, who can turn down an opportunity to spend the day amongst loads of dogs!?

The club meets the first Sunday of every month from 2-3pm at Fergusson Park. There's no charge, just bring your dog, your smile and your willingness to meet new friends. All breeds are welcome.

Another cool event today is the Golden Oldies rugby meet up. If you're one of those people who loves to boast about your hay days on the field - than this is for you.

Tauranga Old Stars needs new players - so why not meet the team. Email your interest to taurangaoldstars@gmail.com

And the action doesn't stop there, to find out about other events happening in the city see our What's On calendar below:
