An investigation is underway into a bedroom fire in Omokoroa.
One person has been treated for smoke inhalation following this morning's fire.
Firefighters were called to the fire at a house on Hamurana Road just before 2.30am.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand communications shift manager Colin Underdown says the person was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Details of how the fire started are being investigated.
