Police have released the name of the man who died at the Polynesian Spa in Rotorua on June 19.
He was 67-year-old Denis Miklus, a French National.
The death has been referred to the Coroner, says a police spokesperson.
In a statement released following the man's death,Polynesian Spa CEO Gert Taljaard says their immediate thoughts are with the family and friends of this person.
"As this matter is now with the police, we are unable to comment any further at this time."
