Fog which has caused flight delays and cancellations in Auckland is having a chain effect on some Tauranga flights.
Fourteen domestic regional flights from Auckland have been cancelled including those to Tauranga, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Gisborne, Rotorua and Blenheim.
A number of travellers have reported significant delays and cancellations at Tauranga Airport this morning.
Tauranga Airport manager Ray Dumble says two flights are affected.
'The latest estimated departure time is 10am.”
