There are very few people in Greerton

who would agree with the line in the article that states "Greerton Village: significant traffic safety and streetscape improvements are underway. " The bottleneck on Cameron Road at the Village just gets worse, and this chokepoint just increases the time of the "Cameron Road crawl" - it can take 40 minutes or more to get from Kent Street to Barkes Corner at times. The situation is ridiculous, with cars unable to exit their driveways onto the roads, cars cutting in on the inside lane between the supermarket and Pooles Rod - safety is a real issue, and going to get worse.
