Cyperez Tata is an 11-year-old promising young rugby player from Brookfield School.

He is the captain of his under 11 rugby team and rides his bike to and from school and rugby training.

On Tuesday last week, his brand new bike got stolen from outside the school.

'I was angry and sad when my bike got stolen outside school,” says Cyperez.

Lisa Adams, a board member of Brookfield School got in contact with real estate agent Jim Peterson about what they could do about the situation.

Cyperez may be only 11 but he has dealt with some hardship along the way, so Lisa and Jim wanted to help him out. As a result of this Jim donated a brand new bike to Cyperez.

'He is a promising young lad,” says Jim from Westbay Real Estate.

There was not a dry eye when the bike was presented, with family members travelling all the way from Taupo to see him be given the new bike.

Cyperez is quite a shy kid with having not much to say about his new bike but you could see it in his face that he was very greatful about his new belonging.

'I am happy and very thankful that I've been given a new bike. Red is my favourite colour and I can't wait to ride it,” says Cyperez.
