Western Bay of Plenty Police are seeking to locate Adrian John Rewiri, after he failed to appear in the Tauranga District Court.
Rewiri had been scheduled to appear in court today on charges relating to driving while disqualified and possession of a firearm, but he did not show up.
A police media spokesperson says while the 32-year-old male is currently of no fixed abode, police believes he is moving between Tokoroa, Tauranga, Matamata and Rotorua.
"Enquiries with associates indicate that Rewiri is likely to be using makeup to disguise his facial tattoos and is also believed to be wearing a wig.
"Police are aware that associates are assisting Rewiri to avoid arrest.

"We would like remind those associates that by actively assisting Rewiri to avoid arrest they are committing an offence punishable by imprisonment."

Anyone with information in relation to the whereabouts of Rewiri is asked to contact their nearest Police Station or Tauranga Police on 07 577 4300.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

DID i Miss something -- " Rewiri had been scheduled to appear in court today on charges relating to - driving while disqualified and possession of a firearm, " Seems that a little bit of INSIDE time is required !! OH and unless he is being helped in his avoidance of being found by the Police, then it should not take long to "catch him" - regretfully he is a MARKED man, from his point of view - as the sunlive photo shows !!

It's always....
