A man is dead after being hit by an unladen truck and trailer unit.
Emergency services were called to the crash in Horsham Downs in Hamilton earlier today.
Sergeant Will Hamilton says the man was walking his dog on Osborne Road at about 11.30am this morning just before the accident.
'Diversions are still place and will be for some time while the Serious Crash Unit and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Team investigate this tragic incident.”
