Police are investigating a crash in Welcome Bay, where a car has smashed into a light pole.
Photos sent to SunLive show a car on the side of the road and light pole on the ground on Esmarelda Street.
A police spokesperson says police were called to the scene at 9.30am.
"There doesn't appear to be any injuries."
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says police and power contractors are at the scene.
"There doesn't appear to be any driver with the vehicle. It doesn't look like any other vehicles were involved in the crash."
Witnesses to the crash, who haven't already spoken with police, can report any information to their nearest police station.

the road or maybe the light pole jumped out in front of the car,it couldn't possibly be the drivers fault.
