Get off Trump-bashing campaign

Re G Martin's letter (The Weekend Sun, October 5)

Get off the Trump-bashing campaign and stop being influenced by the ‘fake news' from the left.

The world doesn't hate Donald Trump – 66 million more people voted him in and even more millions will do so in the primaries. He has done more for USA than anyone else and the opposition hate it.

Most of my American friends are impressed with better health care, veterans being looked after, housing and the highest employment rate ever. But we don't hear those positives do we?

Our New Zealand coalition government promised not to sell out to overseas, yet in the last five months have allowed thousands of hectares in Otago to be sold to Canadians, and passed legislation to allow the Chinese to take billions of litres of our fresh water to bottle in the Bay of Plenty for free. To top it off, we have thousands of Indians stranded in Auckland on fake work and student visas from an Indian criminal taking money from them and he walks free in Auckland. Yet there is very little media coverage on those topics.

Perhaps we can spread the love by not being walked over, intimidated and stolen from?
