One car crashed near Bayfair

UPDATE 3.51pm: A tow truck has been called to remove a car after a crash near Bayfair.

A police spokesperson says they recieved a report of a car crashed at the roundabout at State Highway 2 and Girven Road at 3pm.

"There appears to have one occupant and there's no mention of any injuries."

EARLIER:

Reports are coming in about a crash near the Bayfair roundabout.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says the traffic is backed up to the flyover.

"There looks to be two very smashed up cars."

"Three cop cars are already there."

SunLive has contacted police and will bring more information as it becomes available.

Don't blame the VEHICLE

The manipulator of the vehicle was obviously not paying attention or obeying the road signs (read as law).
