Coombes Johnston BMW Group has recently appointed Kevin Pead as general manager of its Tauranga dealership.

Kevin, originally from South Africa, has lived in New Zealand for six years. He has more than 20 years' experience in the automotive industry, including management, sales and customer satisfaction positions with BMW and in the premium vehicle market.

Kevin relocated for the role with his wife and daughter and says he is 'so grateful” for the opportunity to work and live in one of New Zealand's most progressive and picturesque regions.

He heads up a loyal and experienced team of 13 staff and will be building greater focus on boosting customer experience and demonstrating 'the level of respect and service customers deserve”.

'The Coombes Johnston Group invests a huge amount of time and effort into developing and nurturing customer relationships,” says Kevin.

'We have won numerous awards at our Hamilton branch for our after-sales service, which goes above and beyond what any other dealership in the Waikato-Bay of Plenty offers. Now it's time to bring that focus to the Bay of Plenty.

'My vision is to make our attention to detail when it comes to customer service our ‘wow story',” he says.

The dealership is planning a redesign and refurbishment in 2019 which Kevin says will bring BMW's leading-edge landmark ‘future retail store' model to the Bay.

'We're very excited about this project. We'll be creating a state-of-the-art destination for BMW in our region, coupled with an exceptional customer experience that will be unrivalled. We are really looking forward to sharing with the community more about that project as it progresses.”
