A new app is now available that allows you to see everything Tauranga has to offer, right in the palm of your hand.

Launched by SunMedia today, the Tauranga City App has all your up-to-date local and national news, events, shops, and restaurants – even the nearest public toilet.

SunMedia general manager Jay Burston has spent countless hours working on the app and says it will help you navigate your way through the city easily with location-based functionality.

'Simply tap on the location you are looking for, and be guided by a live map. Constantly updated by us and you, utilising our crowd-sourcing technology.

The app is available through Google Play for android phones and at the App Store for iPhones.
