The walkway between Darraghs Road, Brookfield, and the Waikareao Estuary network has been temporarily closed for safety improvements.
The works will involve replacing the existing stairs, cycle ramp and handrail to improve safety for users.
'We expect the work to be finished before Christmas,” says Tauranga City Council in a media statement.
'In the meantime, access is available via the boardwalk and path to Te Koari Drive and Kingswood Road.”
