Reports are coming in of a crash on State Highway 2, near Aongatete.
A SunLive reader says there is a three car crash on the highway, near Westbank Drive.
"There doesn't appear to be injuries, but the vehicles are blocking the road."
Motorists are being advised to expect delays.
Emergency services have been called to the scene.
Meanwhile, there are also reports of traffic delays north of Katikati.
People are advised to drive with care and be patient on the roads.
