What’s On: Mud Dog Run and the weather

Good Morning SunLive readers and welcome back to another fine summer's day.

Looking at the weather for today, it is going to be mainly fine, with a chance of a morning shower.

There will also be some westerlies about.

Your high for today will be 26 degrees with an overnight low of 16 degrees.

Looking at your weather for tomorrow, there will be some cloud about in the morning with some gusty southwesterlies.

Tuesday is looking to be a fine day with some westerly breezes and a high of 26 degrees.

The temperature for this week will be staying up in the high 20's with some rain forecast for Thursday.

Today, running in conjunction with the Western Bay of Plenty Council and the Tauranga City council is the Mud Dog Run.

There are two different courses that you can chose to participate in, with a short an easy run starting at 11am and a long and challenging run starting at 1pm.

There will be food and drinks available on site, and taking a spare change of clothes is recommended.
