Armed police have caused a bit of a stir in Tauranga this afternoon.
Armed officers were spotted by members of the public on 16th Ave, just before 2pm.
A caller to the SunLive newsroom says there were four police officers with guns outside his house.
"The incident on 16th Avenue involved several police officers holding a glock to a guy's back," they said.
A police spokesperson says police were working to locate an individual.
"The individual has a warrant out for their arrest."
