Search and rescue teams looking for missing man John (Johnny) Mohi have found a body in Maketu.
In a formal statement issued by New Zealand Police, it says while the formal identification of the body is still to be completed, the search and rescue operation for John has been put on hold.
'We offer our sympathies to the friends and whanau of Mr Mohi at this sad time.
'Police would like to thank the community and volunteers who supported the search.”
