A one-year-old child has suffered serious injuries after being stuck by a car in Hamilton.
Police were called to the incident at a residential property in Hamilton East this morning.
A police spokesperson says the child was struck by a car on the driveway of the property.
'The child suffered serious injuries and was taken to Waikato Hospital.
'Police remain at the scene and an investigation has begun into the circumstances of what happened.
'Police are offering support to the family involved during this difficult time.”
