An investigation is still ongoing into a dog that was reportedly killed in a Tauranga Park last week.
A police spokesperson says they received a report relating to an injured dog in the Judea area at around 12pm on Tuesday April 9.
“Police attended immediately, but upon arrival neither the dog nor any person of interest was located.”
A police spokesperson says today that the investigation is still in progress.
If anyone has any information regarding the investigation, police are urging them to come forward.
