Road closures in Tauranga begin today until 9pm Sunday, April 21 for the Jazz Festival.

The central portion of The Strand will be closed, from Harington Street to Devonport Road, excluding the roundabout.

Wharf Street will be shut off, from Willow Street to The Strand.

Hamilton Street will be closed from Willow Street to The Strand.

Access will be maintained for public buses for the event.

In terms of parking, cars will not be permitted to park within the road closure zone when the closures are in place.

The Northern Waterfront car park will be open in a restricted capacity for the duration of the event, and mobility parking will be available in this location.
