One person had to be cut from a vehicle, following a three car crash on State Highway 36.
Emergency services were called to the crash, near Waiteit Road in Ngongotaha, around 2pm.
"Initially one person was reported to be trapped, however, in a moderate condition, and two others were also described as having moderate injuries," says a police spokesperson.
"I understand the road is blocked but tows are being arranged for the vehicles involved."
