A vehicle is blocking one lane of State Highway 29, in the Lower Kaimai.
Police were called to a crash on SH29, Lower Kaimai, around 7am.
The crash reportedly involved one vehicle which was partially blocking the road, says a police spokesperson.
"The intersecting roads are Soldiers Road and Valley View Road.
"There is no further information at this stage."
Heavy rain is hitting the region today and people are being advised to drive to the conditions.
