Police report that a vehicle was on its side at Mount Maunganui on Saturday night.

The incident happened at the intersection of Maunganui Rd and Rata St about 7.45pm.

A SunLive reader says that the car rolled on to its side, with Police and fire services attending the scene. The vehicle was returned back on to all four wheels.

There were no injuries reported.

Police also report that a vehicle spun and hit a traffic island on Sunday morning near Tauriko. The collision with the traffic island happened near the crossing just south of the SH36 and SH29 roundabout about 7.50am.

No injuries were reported and there doesn't appear to be any impact on traffic.
