Seven vehicles have crashed in Te Puna this morning.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE says the vehicles have crashed on State Highway 2, near BP.
Oil is reported to be on the road.
"It looks like a nose-to-tail crash."
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
A police spokesperson says this appears to be a nose-to-tail situation with no injuries.
"Traffic was initially backing up but all parties are reported to have swapped insurance details and the cars are off the road."
