Power is out to more than 100 homes in the Ohauiti area this evening.
According to Poweco, the supply went down around 5.30pm.
A total of 132 homes are affected by the outage.
A site investigation is underway into the cause of the outage.
Powerco is hoping to have power back on in the area around 10.30pm.
