There was a big beautiful display of fireworks at Baypark Speedway on Saturday night as crowds of people watched with delight.

It was fireworks both off and on the track with a five star show scheduled as well as the ‘annual fireworks spectacular'.

Sprintcars, super saloons, stockcars, mini stocks, and the first appearance of the midgets all hit the track with bumper fields, with cars coming in from all over the country.

During the racing the pits were closed but before and afterwards fans could come meet the stars and see the cars, grab a selfie and an autograph.

Gates opened at 5pm with racing from 7pm with the fireworks display later in the evening which wrapped up about 10pm.
