Wildlife biologist Cam Speedy is talking to Te Puke residents about the need for pest control in the Kaimai Mamaku ranges.

Te Puke Forest and Bird are hosting the talk at the Masonic Lodge, Oxford Street at 7.30 pm on Tuesday, November 26.

Cam is also a keen hunter and has a background in Wildlife Service, Department of Conservation and is now running his own business.

He has plenty of experience to share and part of his presentation includes images of a drone flight over the Kaimai Mamaku range.

He is passionate about wildlife management and has dedicated his working life to understanding some of the complex wildlife issues unique to New Zealand.

The meeting is open to the public with raffles and supper available and a gold coin donation is welcome.
