Firefighters are investigating reports of a fire at a Western Bay of Plenty property.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says firefighters are dealing with what appeared to be a house fire in Rangiuru Road.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand northern fire communications shift manager Carren Larking says the fire is reported to be in the roof of the house.
"We got the call at 10am to a roof fire Rangiuru Road in Te Puke.
"They've called it a small property fire in the roof void and we currently have two fire appliances on site."
