Speedway fans have been left wondering what to do with themselves this Saturday night as it has been announced that speedway to Baypark has been cancelled.

Taking to Facebook to announce the decision, the post says 'due to a lack of commitment and availability of competitors, we are postponing this Saturday's speedway racing”.

'With major events scheduled at other tracks, the Championships and travelling series that have involved considerable time and travel over the last two weeks that have taken their toll on the resources and energy of drivers and crews, we are left with no option but to abandon the racing this weekend.

'We have tried to put a show together, but now we are left with considering option on how to make this up to everyone on a future date.

'Sorry, and thanks for your understanding.”
