$1 million for lucky Lotto player

A lucky Lotto player from Tuatapere, Southland will be celebrating after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Tuatapere Four Square in Tuatapere.

Powerball was not struck last night and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $25 million.

Strike Four was also won last night by players from Taipa, Hamilton and New Plymouth, who each take home $133,333. The winning Strike tickets were sold at Taipa Foodmarket in Taipa, Countdown Claudelands in Hamilton and Fitzroy Lotto & Mags in New Plymouth.

Twelve lucky Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $29,616 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night's live Lotto draw.

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $53,702. The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Fresh Choice Barrington in Christchurch.

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at Countdown Beachlands – Auckland, MyLotto – Waikato, Urenui Four Square - New Plymouth, MyLotto - Manawatu-Whanganui, Trafalgar Lotto – Whanganui, Levin New World – Levin, Mall Books And Lotto – Wellington, MyLotto (x3) – Canterbury, Fresh Choice Barrington (+PB) – Christchurch, and Bridge Street Dairy - Christchurch

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
