A new wave buoy has been set in place off the Bowentown Bar.
The Bay of Plenty Regional Council announced this week that their new wave buoy has been placed four nautical miles off the Bowentown Bar.
'Heads-up boaties,” says a BOPRC spokesperson on the council's Facebook page. 'For boaties in the area the co-ordinates are S 37 26.142, E 176 03.606.
'We will let you know when the data is available on our website.”
