A ‘This is Us' workshop is being held today at The Incubator, Tauranga Historic Village, 17th Ave. The storytelling and design workshop is where you will be able to share the story of how you or your whanau came to live in New Zealand, and your hopes and desires for the future of Tauranga or New Zealand/Aotearoa.

Come and do your bit for the environment and help with some dune planting at the Mount today from 10am – 12noon. Just bring yourself, your friends and whanau, a spade if you have one, and dress for the weather. Look out for the Coast Care flag on Marine Parade at the beach access point opposite Hart Rd.

Come along to Messy Church. Everyone of every age is welcome to Holy Trinity on the corner of Third Ave and Devonport Rd for Messy Church. The theme today is Jesus – the good shepherd. Come and join in with crafts, story, and some delicious shepherd's pie and dessert. More information here

Poi making at Tauranga Historic Village

The Matariki celebrations continue over this weekend with workshops and activities. Have you every learned how to make your own poi? Today there is a free workshops at The Artery in 17thAve where participants can learn to make their own Kapa Haka poi, using their own pom pom colours. More information here
