A woman has sustained multiple injuries after falling from a tractor in the Bay of Plenty.
Tauranga-based TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Te Kaha on Monday, following reports that a woman had fallen from her tractor.
'She was assessed by the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic, identifying multiple injuries as a result, including a broken leg and internal injuries,” says a spokesperson for the rescue helicopter.
'The patient was flown to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition, carefully monitored by the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic.”
