Bay of Plenty residents can celebrate the diverse range of cultures that make up the community at a festival in Te Puke next month.

The Te Puke World Fest is a family friendly, outdoor event set to take place on November 21 at Jubilee Park.

Festival organiser Holly Douglas says this is the only cultural festival in Tauranga going ahead this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Attendees can expect cultural performances by school and community groups, an array of food stalls from around the world and other cultural activities.

'Various cultures make up the unique fabric of Te Puke and we would love to celebrate this with a day of music, dance, food and festivities.”

The event will run from 3pm-7pm at Jubilee Park in Te Puke.
