Stallholders at the Oropi Sunday Market

Just a 13 minute drive from Greerton Village, the Oropi Sunday Market, located in the Oropi Memorial hall is the place to be this morning to catch some of the more unique artisans and craftspeople from around Tauranga. There's ample parking, as well as plenty of food and coffee available. After browsing the stalls, explore Otanewainuku Forest which is just down the road and have a relaxing soak at the Oropi Hot Pools on the way home.

Comedian Simon McKinley at the Tauranga Pop-Up Comedy Club in Devonport Rd.

Want to have a good laugh? Come along tonight to the Tauranga Pop-Up Comedy Club in the old Glassons store in Devonport Rd next to the Goddards Shopping Centre. Jeremy Elwood presents his solo show at 7pm, followed by the Sunday Late Laughs lineup show from 8.30pm with Jeremy Elwood, Tim Batt, Eli Matthewson and Janaye Henry.

A perfect activity as well as of high interest to all - the STEM ‘Discovery' HQ is open today from 10am – 3pm at the Goddards Centre, 27 Devonport Rd, Tauranga and is dedicated to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEM HQ brings educational entertainment with a play and learn environment that makes way for sparking curiosity and exploration. Featuring six separate exhibit zones and a ‘feature zone' that changes weekly, there are activities you'll want to keep coming back for. Exhibit spaces include a Space Zone, Sponsors Exhibitor Zone, Light Zone, Engineering Nook, Earth Science Zone, and Mini Maker's Station.
