A vehicle has rolled on State Highway 25 near Hikuai.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE hotline says the highway was blocked on both sides at Tairua Road, but has since reopened.
"It seems really bad."
The crash is located in the Hikuai settlement, in the Thames-Coromandel District area.
A police spokesperson says emergency services are responding to a report of a two-vehicle crash on Tairua Road.
'One of the vehicles has rolled.”
The spokesperson says it doesn't appear anyone is seriously injured.
