A broken down truck is reported to be causing delays in Mount Maunganui.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotine says there is a "big" truck that has broken down in the centre lane of Hewletts Road.
"It's near the intersection of Totara Street.
"There are big traffic delays."
People are advised to avoid the area if possible or to expect delays in their travels.
