Emergency services are at the scene of the serious crash in the Bay of Plenty.
A police spokesperson says they were called to a crash on State Highway 30, between Thornton and Paroa roads in the Whakatane district.
The call was received at 11.50am.
"Two care are involved and three people have been injured.
"Two people are reported to be in serious condition and one is reported to have moderate injuries."

People are advised to expect delays.
