Investigations are underway into the cause of a single vehicle accident near Maungatapu.
A SunLive reader emailed to says a vehicle had flipped on the Maungatapu Bridge, in the lane heading towards Tauranga.
"It looked like it [the vehicle] hit a retaining wall."
A police spokesperson confirmed they were called to the crash on State Highway 29A at 10pm.
"It appears the vehicle had rolled and was blocking a lane.
"The sole occupant suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital."
