A police investigation is underway following a sudden death in the Bay of Plenty.
A person's body was discovered at a Kawerau address this morning.
A police spokesperson has confirmed the officers are attending a 'sudden death at a residential address in Kawerau”.
'We were alerted at 9.15am. Initial indications are that the death is not suspicious.
'Police inquiries are continuing.”
Police are still at the scene.
