Women's golf—18 holes

Players were careful to abide by the rules laid down for Covid Level 2 on Saturday September 11, and strong winds did not make playing conditions particularly pleasant for the 13 players in the ladies' field, or the men following them. There was a raft of competitions to be played that had accumulated while in Covid Level 4 lockdown— BOP Stableford 5, Lowrie Cup Par, Niel's Birthday and Wilson Salver, and a stableford haggle. n There was no play on Wednesday September 15 due to very wet weather, which means that the list of competitions that need to be played will be even longer next week.

Veterans' golf

That is was good to be back in the near-normal conditions of Covid Level 2 was evident with 50 players in the field on Monday September 13, and apart from a brisk westerly wind, conditions were very good for a stableford haggle and three matches in the Matchplay competition.

Nine Hole golf

While playing the second round of Stroke Play championship on Tuesday September 14 there was little change for the better in the weather the Nine holers have endured week after week—windy and threatening to rain.
