Passed away at his Tauranga home after a long battle with cancer on Thursday 23 September 2021, at age 77. Beloved husband of Julie and father to Nicole, Donna, Richard and Lynda. Dearly loved brother of Ann and Barbara, and much-loved Grandad of Mia, Ben, Holly and Matthew. The family would like to thank friends for spending time with John in his last days and extend a special thank you to Chrissy, Ritchie, Dorrie and Kiri for the wonderful care, respect and support provided to John and the family during his last week. A funeral service will be held at Elliotts Chapel on Cameron, 414 Cameron Road, Tauranga, on Monday 27 September at 12.00 noon followed by a burial at Pyes Pa Cemetery. Regretfully attendance is by invitation due to Covid restrictions.
